Wilson successfully concluded the Cagayan de Oro leg of its 3×3 Basketball Challenge with a total of 73 participating teams from all over Mindanao.

Held at St. Mary’s Academy in Brgy. Carmen, Cagayan de Oro, the 3×3 Basketball Challenge CDO leg featured three game categories: 13 Under, 15 Under, and 18 Under.

The R-ACE Team, composed of Kurt Aaron Gelogo, Louis Andre Joring, Tryon Limar Langala, and Miguel Salapuddin, took the top spot for the 15 Under category. The Wilson 3×3 Basketball Challenge 12 Under boys rivalry was ruled by the Zambo A Team.

Meanwhile, the championship title for the 18 Under category of the 3-on3 hoopfest went to the Sacred Heart 1 team. This four-man team is composed of Paul Steven Babate, Jhunry Menaling, Rafael Porcadilla, and Steven Rey Bernat.

The champion teams from each category will represent the Mindanao region next year at the Wilson 3×3 National Finals, happening at Toby’s Arena in Pasig City.

Wilson’s basketball challenge in CDO was organized in partnership with the Motivation Builds Champions (MBC) group. Wilson Brand Manager Errol Cajefe Elicanal joined the MBC coaches, led by local coordinator James Clifford Racines, in awarding the winning squads.
