Mobile Summit Manila tackles Mobile-First Generation

The Mobile Summit Manila 2015 will bring together two of the country’s biggest mobile marketing events, the CMO Mobile Summit and Mobile Festival, to tackle the topic of “Mobile-First Generation.” From C-level executives to digital enthusiasts, 600 attendees are expected to grace the event on July 1 and 2 at The Tent in Enderun, McKinley Hill to hear distinguished speakers in the digital arena talk about mobile. Marketers are facing the increasingly difficult challenge of reaching out to consumers effectively across devices. Mobile Summit Manila will address how brands and marketers can better integrate mobile into their strategy as more consumers are now seeing mobile as their primary screen. The event is endorsed by the Philippine Association of National Advertisers (PANA) and is co-organized by leading mobile marketing agencies Mobext and the International Institute of Digital Marketing (IIDM). The CMO Mobile Summit, which is happening on the first day of the event, is open to C-level executives and is geared toward how mobile can take a bigger role in organizations. The range of topics will include discussions on mobile ROI, mobile works in the marketing mix, and CMO-CIO collaboration. Happening on the second day of the event is the Mobile Festival. It will focus on mobile executions and tactics for brands and agencies. It will revolve around providing brands with practical advice such as how to implement an omnichannel strategy and how to succeed at mobile-social. Both days will host a start-up exhibit, where marketers and agencies can see firsthand the different innovations in the mobile space. Key speakers of Mobile Summit Manila include Facebook APAC FMCG & CPG Head Reynold d’ Silva, AXA Indonesia Head of Digital Transformation & Innovation Ari Fadyl, Luxola Head of Special Projects Simon Torring, Brandable Managing Director and Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) APAC Board member Michelle Froah, and MMA APAC Managing Director Rohit Dadwal. More speakers will be revealed soon. “It’s 2015 and some brands are still hesitant to embrace a mobile strategy, despite them seeing that their customers are spending more and more time on mobile than any other device. A big part of this is the lack of guidance and local proof of mobile ROI. This is what we’re hoping to address with Mobile Summit Manila, and we hope to gain marketers’ confidence in the channel,” says Arthur Policarpio, Head of Mobext Asia-Pacific and Co-Chair of Mobile Summit Manila. Hans Roxas-Chua, Co-director of the IIDM Program and Co-Chair of the Mobile Summit Manila, added, “It’s already our third year organizing the country’s top mobile conferences, and we have seen that interest in mobile has increased year on year. This 2015, we’re bringing together two events so we can better address the unique challenges of marketing teams and decision-makers.” Companies who wish to send their teams to both days may request for an invitation at the Mobile Summit Manila website ( For other inquiries, you may also call +63 02 927-0096 or +63917 859 8098, or simply register at
