Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) brought its own splash of colors to the Southern Luzon leg of one of the biggest running events in the country, Color Manila Paradise Run. The Laguna race followed the successful first run in Clark, Pampanga last March 18.
“We want to spread the excitement and fun in different cities in the Philippines,” said Mr. Jomel Jerezo, General Manager and Department Manager of the Motorcycle Business Planning Department of HPI during the first leg in Clark. “Through this, we can relate our products to the interests of the millennials through their fun lifestyle.”
HPI sponsors five legs of the event, simultaneously promoting its current brand campaign ONE DREAM. Honda brings to Color Manila the fun and youthful vibe of its most colorful automatic model, the New Honda BeAT, which matches the theme of running event as well as supports the active lifestyle of Filipino millennials.
Covered with different colors after the run, runners posed with Honda’s display of equally colorful automatic models at the photobooth. Also included in the display is the All-New PCX150.
To add to the excitement, Honda organized games for participants that offered them exclusive Honda merchandise. The Honda ONE DREAM dance craze got the crowd energized as three groups of runners busted out their best moves to the tune of Honda’s new anthem, with the best team winning a gift pack from HPI.
CM Paradise Run–Laguna Leg attracted around 2,000 runners. It included three race distances: the 3K, 5K, and 10K categories.
The race was capped off with the CM Color Festival, where runners had fun dancing while colored powders are thrown in the air.
Color Manila is open to interested runners for upcoming legs, starting with the Manila leg this May 27, the Cebu leg this June, and the Cagayan de Oro leg this August.
