The all-new Audi Q5 has been the talk of the town since its debut at the 2016 Paris Motor Show. Now, Filipino car buyers can get to own one of these German luxury compact SUVs as Audi Philippines unveiled its newest baby in the market at the Manila Polo Club on October 11.

In the Philippine market, Audi is making available the 2.0-liter TDI, which delivers 188hp and 400Nm, and the 2.0-liter TFSI with 248hp and 350Nm—both with a Premium, Design, and S line variant. Standard in all variants is Quattro all-wheel drive with ultra technology, which can disengage and re-engage the rear-axle drive whenever necessary. This helps boost efficiency without reducing traction or sacrificing driving dynamics.

Together with car aficionados and motoring industry personalities, Speed got to check out the all-new Audi Q5 up close.

From the outside, it obviously has kept its distinct curved lines, but with a sharp shoulder line and a flared Singleframe grille. The roof is also aerodynamically optimized to reduce wind noise.

It’s hard to take your attention away from the virtual cockpit, particularly the high-resolution 12.3-inch screen and integrated touchpad that can recognize handwritten gestures. It also has an Audi smartphone interface with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

The interior provides comfort and space for five full-sized adults. Enjoy top entertainment experience with the Bang & Olufsen sound system with innovative 3D sound.

For your next road trip, you don’t have to worry about leaving essentials behind as the luggage compartment can hold up to 550 liters of cargo.

Check out the all-new Audi Q5 at Audi showrooms in Alabang, Global City, Greenhills, and SM Seaside City Cebu.
