While everyone is engaged on a nostalgic Facebook group that reminisces about the ‘80s and ‘90s, Polaroid Originals is bringing fantasies of the good old days back to life with the recently unveiled OneStep 2 i-Type camera.
Eight decades since the breakout invention of the Polaroid camera by American scientist Edwin Land—plus hundreds of photography technology in between—the interest for the instant point-shoot-print concept has remained strong. First, it was among the cool creative crowd, but later trickled to the millennials looking for alternatives to digital. With this, Polaroid Originals rolled out its line of refurbished vintage cameras, led at the helm by the OneStep 2.
Inspired by the original OneStep camera from 1977, the OneStep 2 is an easy-to-use analog instant camera that blends classic design with contemporary style. It boasts heavy-weight features such as the built-in strobe flash, high-quality two-feet to infinity lens, and self-timer function. It also has a long-lasting rechargeable battery that can last up to 60 days.
The OneStep 2 runs on all the styles of Polaroid Originals’ i-Type Film and 600 Film. It comes in two colors: white and graphite. This is a real classic, ‘pare!
The Polaroid Originals OneStep 2 i-Type camera is available at Bratpack stores in Greenbelt 5 Shangri-La Plaza and Alabang Town Center.
