Sony recently held an intimate gathering with select members of the media for the introduction of its latest products under the Xperia line.

Its hero flagship, the Sony Xperia XZ2, is the world’s first smartphone capable of 1080p Full HD 960fps Super Slow Motion and 4K HDR video recording, using an advanced Motion Eye camera.

The Xperia XZ2 is the perfect smartphone for any social-media-savvy person, particularly vloggers, as its 4K HDR recording enables sharing and uploading to YouTube or a compatible HDT TV to view the content back in lifelike realism.

It carries a 5.7-inch 18:9 HDR Full HD+ display and a powerhouse audio system that includes Dynamic Vibration, High-Resolution Audio3, and LDAC wireless music experience.

Image quality has also been improved on the Xperia XZ2. It comes with a 19MP Motion Eye camera and the 1080P 960fps super slow motion camera feature that makes it possible to turn regular moments into more dramatic captures.

The Sony Xperia XZ2 is now officially available in the Philippines in liquid silver and liquid black. It is priced at P43,990 for 0% interest for 12 months if you pre-order now until May 6 in all Sony Centers and Xperia Shops. All pre-orders will receive a gift set worth P5,479. Retail availability will be on May 11 in all authorized Sony dealers.

Sony Mobile also welcomes other products in the Xperia line: the XA2 Ultra, Xperia Ear Duo, and Xperia Touch.

Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra

Launched earlier in April, the Xperia XA2 Ultra is designed perfectly for selfies, with its 16MP with Optical Image Stabilization and 8MP 120° super wide-angle dual front cameras, both with front flash. It is now available in black, blue, and gold for P22,990.

The Xperia Ear Duo’s Dual Listening technology, on the other hand, lets you listen to music and at the same time hear environmental sound or conversations with its ultra-low power consuming “CXD5602” chip and a sophisticated multi-sensor platform. The “Daily Assist” feature recognizes time, location, and activities and then prompts a reminder on your plans throughout the day.

Finally, the Xperia Touch brings the revolutionary SXRD projection display, which turns flat surfaces into a 23-inch HD touchscreen, that makes online gaming, video streaming, and more completely enjoyable for you. It’s currently available for P79,999 in three Sony Centre stores in Glorietta, SM Mall of Asia, and SM Megamall.
