The Editorial Associate assists the editors in ensuring the smooth flow of the magazine production by researching, providing legwork, proofreading, and coordinating with internal and external contacts, sourcing out materials, covering events, and fulfilling any writing tasks.


  • Must be interested and highly familiar with topics related to gadgets, technology, lifestyle, and motoring
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, and a strong grasp of the English language
  • Must have a genuine flair for writing dynamic, interesting, and witty articles
  • Must have a keen eye for detail
  • Organized with a strong ability to multitask
  • Good researching, writing, and interviewing skills
  • Tech- and social media-savvy
  • Can commute/knows how to get around; can stay out late (to attend events)
  • Can write news fast
  • Should show evidence of the following:

– good social skills, enthusiasm, self-motivation, and flexibility
– ability to stay calm under pressure
– creativity and resourcefulness
– time management skills, including the ability to keep to tight deadlines


The Executive Assistant for Advertising plays a pivotal role in Speed’s Sales Team. Responsibilities include competitive analysis, sales reports, organizing and scheduling appointments, sending out various communications, interfacing with other departments, performing necessary administrative duties, maintaining masterlists, and putting together letters, presentation materials, and other sales collaterals. Eventually, the Executive Assistant for Advertising will be assigned accounts to handle personally.


  • Must be able to multitask, have great communication skills, familiar with gadgets, technologies, and social media trends, and strongly interested in print magazines.
  • Must have at least 2 years work experience within a media or marketing company whether from administrative, accounting, or customer support department and have the strong desire to shift to a full-time sales career.
  • Must be available to start immediately
