Samsung NV3, NV7 OPS, and NV10
Their form factor is an ode to retro cameras but Samsung's New Vision cameras hold all the latest technology. All three models feature black supermodel-gorgeous metal bodies and 2.5-inch LCDs. The NV7 OPS and NV10 use a innovative user interface using Smart Touch buttons-a gentle touch is all it takes to navigate menu items, manipulate the settings, or view your pictures.
Encased in a thin 17.5mm metal body, the 7.2MP NV3 has 3x optical and 5x digital zoom, and Samsung's unique ASR (Advanced Shake Reduction) system. It also doubles as an MP3 player using a special audio processing chip. Listen to the music via the built-in stereo speakers or included headphones. The NV3 also acts as a digital camcorder with MPEG-4 TVD (720x480) 20fps and VGA (640x480) 30fps; Auto Gain Control (AGC) technology minimizes zoom noise during video recording. A text viewer allows the user to read text on the LCD, while the multi-tasking ability enables you to listen to music while taking pictures. An SD/MMC slot is provided to top up on the built-in 15MB memory.
Delivering a more advanced photographic experience for taking scenery, sports, portraits, or even more challenging shots, the NV7 OPS, with 7.2 megapixels and a 7x optical zoom courtesy of a Schneider lens, offers both the Optical Picture Stabilization (OPS) and the ASR processing function to deliver optimum image quality. It comes in a 20.9mm thin black aluminum body with a lens barrel using Samsung's unique blue ring and a pop-up ?ash. The NV7 OPS also supports TV quality MPEG-4 VGA (640x480) 30 fps video, and a Photo Gallery function for a better picture viewing experience. An internal memory of 19MB is provided plus an SD/MMC slot for more memory.
The NV10, on the other hand, holds many of the same features as the NV7 OPS such as its ASR and memory. However, this 10.1MP camera is set apart by its Schneider 3x zoom lens.
