Sony NW-A1000

The MP3 player of love and beauty

The beautiful Aphrodite, who loves shiny and beautiful tech toys, was throwing stones at her husband Hephaestos. Because of her supernatural strength, and because of his supernatural agility, one of the pebbles missed target and landed at the bottom of the river. Fondly nicknamed the "Sony Pebble," the NW-A1000 looks as if it's gathered from the bottom of a river, weathered smooth and sleek and worthy of being transformed by the river gods into a tech boon coveted even by the greatest of Trojan heroes. The 1.5-inch OLED display is painted over with clear acrylic to make it look like the surface of the player is the actual screen. A total of 6GB memory space is packed into this 88 x 55 x 19 mm, 109g beauty. Collect more boons in the form of MP3, ATRAC3, and ATRAC3+ files via USB 2.0.
