Escape 4x2 XLT 2.3
Sister to the Mazda Tribute, the Escape 4x2 XLT also gets the new and bigger 2.3-liter DOHC 16-valve Duratec engine
with 157ps at 6,000 rpm and 203 Newton-meters of torque at 4,500 rpm. Other improvements include better on-center
steering feel, retuned suspension system for better handling stability and ride comfort, an overhead console, power
antenna, ABS with EBD and mechanical brake assist, color-key bumpers and body cladding, and a honeycomb grille with
chrome inserts. Safety features also include dual SRS airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, and SecuriLock passive
