Will gaming phones like the Nokia N-Gage QD and Samsung's new SCH-V450 usher in a new era of portable gaming
connectivity? Let's check their specs and see how these two handheld game deck/phones fare.
Gaming and phones just go together. Earlier models of Nokia phones included games like Snake which were great
ways to while away the time and practice one's dexterous digits in between text message sprees. Makers like Sony
Ericsson even created gamepad add-ons that function like a console's controls. Color screens, great Java midlet
games and better designed phones have made mobile gaming a true possibility.
Until now, the ability to play games on a mobile has been more of a secondary feature than a main selling point.
With Nokia's aggressive new gaming niche gaining and Samsung's dogged attempt to tail it, we can expect to see
some very interesting games in our phones.
