Archos AV400
Entertainment in your pocket

If you like the idea of watching videos while on the go and a 3.5-inch display doesn't bother you, then get the new P31,500 Archos Pocket Video Recorder AV400. This sleek and powerful portable audio-video gizmo measures 4.9 x 3.1 x 0.8 inches (a tad bigger than the iPod), weighs 9.9 ounces and can be carried practically anywhere.

Focus your attention on the AV400's bright 3.5-inch display with 320 x 240 pixels. This widget of a device can play MPEG-4 video (resolution up to 704 x 480 at 30 fps), XviD and DivX video files. It can also record video from any analog source and convert the signal into MPEG-4. That means you can record up to 80 hours of your favorite TV show and watch it again and again!

This multimedia center can also play back MP3, Windows Media Audio and WAV sound files, and display JPEG and BMP still images. It can even store your personal data files and transfer them from your home PC to your laptop via USB 2.0 connection. It has a removable lithium-ion battery, a built-in speaker, built-in Type 1 CompactFlash slot, a standard-size remote control, and a docking cradle that features AV input and output cables, allowing you to view the AV400's interface on your TV screen.
