The Wheels of Tomorrow

Toyota Fine-N, CS&S and PM
Minority Report must be required viewing material for Toyota design teams. The Fine-N is a fuel cell hybrid meant to shape the future of motoring. It features "radial styling" and four-wheel-drive using four in-wheel motors. The drive-by-wire system electronically translates the driver's actions into independent front and rear steering and wheel-by-wheel control of drive power and braking.

CS&S, on the other hand, is a mid-engine 2+2-seater sports car. Driver and passengers have independent spaces, and it uses a 4WD system with electric motor drive for the front wheels and engine-motor-drive for the rear.

How'd you like to "wear" your car? Designed to "meet, link, and hang out," the PM is a "wearable" single-person vehicle that targets driver-vehicle unity and offers advanced inter-vehicle communication. PMs can search for information on the move, and an interactive communication system presents data on other PMs in the vicinity. PMs can also shift posture, switch body colors, follow another PM automatically, meet other PMs, and even strike up conversations with other PMs, which makes it the perfect car for singles out to mingle.
