The IDEA 2004 Awards

Weight-Forward Hammer
With a design that could easily rival any automobile or cellphone in sleekness, this hammer would be dif cult to stow away in your toolbox. Shifting the center of gravity forward towards the point of impact, its use results in more power upon impact without having to increase applied force (lessening the work and eliminating the tendency of the hammer to slide out of your grip). The smooth surface at the top of this hammer by Farm Design, Inc., prevents any damage to the work piece when nails have to be extracted. With effective function and modern design, this hammer is the silver winner in the Business and Industry Products category.
