Yahoo and Hotmail beware. Gmail from Internet search engine powerhouse Google is in town, and it's got features that'll make you wonder what the older players had been doing to keep their users happy. First and foremost, of course, is Gmail's ace up its sleeve - space, all 1GB of it. You could put a serious MP3 library in that kind of space. Yahoo with its 100MB and especially Hotmail with its 2MB is downright paltry by comparison.

But is space, by itself, a good enough reason? Let's check out some other features that just might or might not make you swing your opinion either way.
